Congress Venue

The venue for the 11th Congress of ESDP 2008 is Golden Tulip Rotterdam-Centre. This congress center and hotel is uniquely located on the bank of the River Maas and at the foot of eye-catching Erasmus Bridge. The hotel offers easy access to the underground railway lines (metro) and is just three stops from Rotterdam Central Station. Parking space is available opposite the hotel in parking garage 'Erasmus Bridge'.

Accreditation

The Congress has been accredited by the Dutch Pediatric Association (NVK) (for 21 points), the Netherlands Association of Pharmaceutical Physicians (NVFG) (for 21 points), and the Dutch Association of Hospital Pharmacists (NVZA) (for 20 points).

The Pre-conference Education Day (Wednesday, June 4) is fully booked! Due to the limited seating capacity and the high demand for this event, we are unable to accept any more registrations for this day.

Lars Boreus Prize

The best oral presentation at the ESDP Congress will be awarded the "Lars Boreus Prize". With this prize, the ESDP intends to support a young investigator to attend the next meeting. The winner will receive free registration for the next ESDP Congress, together with a 3 nights hotel stay. Only participants below 40 years of age will qualify. The former winner of the prize is Miklós Szabó.

Sanofi-Aventis Young Investigator Award

The best poster presentation at the ESDP Congress will be granted the "Sanofi-Aventis Young Investigator Award". Again only participants below 40 years of age will qualify. The award consists of a prize of €750 that, together with a beautiful memento, will give you lasting warm memories of the 2008 ESDP meeting in Rotterdam.
